Childrens books and Covid 19
I hope you and your families are well, all things considering. I find it hard to write and ignore the obvious so best to address it the best way I know how. There are two books that we read and love that really help us make some sense of this incredible time that we are in right now.
Both are in Swedish but they truly stand out for me in their core message and beautiful illustrations.
Just Nu Har Vi Varandra
Just Nu Har vi Varandra really speaks to us in the message of being, and patience,
of togetherness
of living in the now
in the familiarity, the mundane and the precious madness of family life .
Jag Ar Inte Sjuk
Is the perfect tool to discussion cold and flu symptoms,
having to stay home,
the importance of rest,
viruses and being contagious.
I really lean on books right now because I am seriously overstretched with work and basic mom duties and running my own little business. I find my self struggling to give more of myself , so I share what I have....books.
I’ve tried to put together a collection of books around the theme that might be interesting to share.
My Hero is You is developed by the World Health Authority (W.H.O) and available for free in several languages and a good place to start.
Most of the above are free but not all. Hopefully some might be of use or simply bring you joy.
Sending love and light to you all
Best
